  1. Gary, Please work on the intutiveness of getting started. Once it was loaded, I was confronted with a vat screen. I can’t carge VAT, and theree was no “Skip”, so I entered data that I hope I can ignore later. Then I was sent to a “settings” screen. There is no icon to get to a home screen where I can start entering cients or billing information. If it is hidden in application settings, perhaps I will find it, but I urge a more intuitive start.

After typing the above, I played with it, for 15 minutes, but still didn’t find the starting point to enter data such as client names, time spent, etc. Please post the secret door here.

    • Hi Roger,

Thanks for your comments. VAT can be enabled or disabled by the VAT enables switch on the settings screen.

The first screen provided captures all the key information that the app requires to work. Once you save this using the save button (top right) you will be taken to a tabbed application where you can choose various options like adding clients.

      Hope this helps,

      Garry

      • No, the light blue background goes to the bottom of the screen. I have fields for “additional settings” “Preferences” and “help” (which put me here). I have no way of getting to the pictured screen, which is why I wrote in the first place.

  2. Tried it, and it re-opened to the same screen. It is interesting that it lost all info in the VAT screen when I re-opened. I re-entered it and saved, but was not taken to the tabs screen – it stayed locked where it is. The words “MiTime” extends past the top (I can only see the bottom 2/3), but sliding down did not show tabs, so the failure to fit the screen is not the source of the problem either. I’ll check back tomorrow, thanks.

    • Hi Roger,

I have been able to replicate the issue and have just developed a fix for both MiTime and MiTime Free to address this issue. More information here. Thank you for pointing this issue out. To get around the issue (without VAT enabled) you need to do the following:

      1) Open MiTime.
      2) Complete the Currency symbol, next invoice number, and date format fields.
      3) Tap Save.
      4) Press home button on iPhone.
      5) Double-press home button on iPhone.
      6) Shut down MiTime by pressing and holding on the icon and then clicking on the red minus sign.
      7) Relaunch and the settings screen will not be presented and app will work as designed.

The update will of course resolve this issue.

Thanks again for pointing out this issue.
